The Palm Jumeirah is the smallest and the original of the Palm Islands originally under development by Nakheel. It is located on the Jumeirah coastal area of the emirate of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates . Palm Jumeirah is the worlds largest man-made island and is comprised of a two kilometer long trunk, a crown made up of 17 fronds and a surrounding crescent. The first of such islands that comprise Nakheel's signature development, will be followed by The Palm Jebel Ali.
